Broadway is, probable, New York’s most famous street, making its way diagonally through the island Manhattan. The Broadway Theater District originated in the early 1900s as theaters began to move from Union Square further uptown to the Times Square area because of its cheaper real estate.Today, the area now attracts millions of visitors and further gleams as an entertainment epicenter for not only New York City, but for the world.
